With over 14 years in Ottawa, Essence Massage and Spa is a proven wellness spa. At Essence Massage and Spa, your health and well-being is our number one priority. Our licensed massage therapists approach clients holistically to find solutions to various acute and chronic conditions.

As a Registered Massage Practitioner (RMP), we are always looking for the latest advances in massage therapy. Through our continuous education in massage technique progressions, we sustain a well-rounded practice of the most famous Swedish Massage and Deep Tissue techniques. We also conduct Neuromuscular Technique (NMT), Myofascial Release, Joint Mobilization, Trigger Point Therapy, and Remedial Exercise Therapy.

Our team of licensed professionals believe that massage therapy is a beneficial alternative to address many physical ailments as well as promote health and well being.

I enjoy meeting new people and helping my clients solve problems through holistic treatment plans. I firmly believe that everyone can benefit from massage therapy, whether it is to decrease stress or to prevent/treat injuries. Through my 14 years of experience operating as a Registered Massage Practitioner at Essence Massage and Spa, my goal is to restore and strengthen the well being of my clients through education about body awareness and injury prevention techniques with the long-term purpose of maintaining your healthy lifestyle. Essence is a community-oriented spa. We participated in many events with the CHEO Foundation and local High Schools to drive wellness awareness.

    Gratuities are at your discretion. We do provide envelopes for you to use at the front desk if you wish to leave the gratuity at reception. Generally speaking, a gratuity of 15% is standard for a service well done.

    Upon rescheduling or cancelling your appointment we kindly ask that you give us 24 hours notice. If no notice is given, the service price will be charged to your account.

    Gift Certificates have no expiry date & are non-refundable. Gift certificates are also available to purchase over the phone with a credit card.

    Due to the nature of the products we sell, we cannot accept returns on products that have been opened and/or used. Unopened, unused products in the original packaging may be exchanged within 14 days of purchase with the original receipts.
